The aim of mvcf is:

To establish, manage and distribute a sustainable fund to support organisations and projects that benefit local residents.

To raise the awareness of and inspire philanthropic giving, to raise donations from local residents and businesses.

To make it easier for Mole Valley community and voluntary groups to access funding for local projects.

HOW TO APPLY FOR GRANTS

The Community Foundation for Surrey provide support and governance of the grant applications for funding of local projects in Mole Valley.

COMMUNITY PROJECTS

The MVCF provides grants to not-for-profit organisations, including charities, social enterprises, community groups and voluntary organisations in Mole Valley, to fund local projects which tackle need and disadvantage across the district.

MVCF is looking for a Social Media Volunteer to help us amplify our message and connect with our community! Your responsibilities will include:• Content creation: Developing engaging posts, graphics, and possibly short videos for our social media channels.• Scheduling & publishing: Planning and scheduling content to ensure a consistent and impactful online presence.• Community engagement: Responding to comments and messages, fostering a vibrant online community, and encouraging interaction.• Campaign support: Assisting with the promotion of MVCF initiatives, events, and fundraising campaigns.• Analytics (optional but a plus!): Helping to track and analyse social media performance to identify areas for growth. We're looking for someone who is:• Social media savvy: Must have a strong understanding of various social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.• Creative & engaging: You can craft compelling copy and visually appealing content.• Organised & reliable: You can manage your time effectively and meet deadlines.• Passionate about our cause: You believe in MVCF's mission and are eager to contribute to our success.• A self-starter: You're proactive and can work independently.
