The aim of mvcf is:

To establish, manage and distribute a sustainable fund to support organisations and projects that benefit local residents.

To raise the awareness of and inspire philanthropic giving, to raise donations from local residents and businesses.

To make it easier for Mole Valley community and voluntary groups to access funding for local projects.

The Community Foundation for Surrey provide support and governance of the grant applications for funding of local projects in Mole Valley.

COMMUNITY PROJECTS

The MVCF provides grants to not-for-profit organisations, including charities, social enterprises, community groups and voluntary organisations in Mole Valley, to fund local projects which tackle need and disadvantage across the district.

VOLUNTEER

MVCF is particularly looking for volunteers with
enthusiasm/ experience in business liaison, community engagement, social media and events.

Mole Valley District Council - founding partner

The Mole Valley Community Fund and Mole Valley District Council as our Founding partners works to strenghten local non profit projects and support residents across the district.

Mole Valley District Council has also committed to match fund eligible donations from small- and medium-sized businesses, to help further fund local good-cause projects. The proposed match funding – up to £2,500 per donation – is available up until 31 March 2027.

Together, MVCF and MVDC are building a sustainable framework that empowers charities, enhances wellbeing, and ensures funding directly benefits the communities who need it most.

Despite the comparative wealth and wellbeing for many in Mole Valley, there are significant levels of disadvantage,
inequality and vulnerability across the area. For instance:
